Scott Kinsloe founded Phoenix Yoga Project to share with others the well-being he enjoys from a regular yoga practice. Recognizing that for many, financial constraints can get in the way of frequent classes, he began teaching yoga for free.
As a not-for-profit, Phoenix Yoga offers group yoga classes to contribute to the personal health and well-being of children and adults, as well as to connect people and strengthen communities.
Along with Scott, other professionally trained and certified instructors lead each class, helping students stretch, strengthen and renew their bodies and spirits with yoga. Classes are held in community spaces that the city and other non-profits offer.
Phoenix Yoga Project invites people of all ages, experience, and ability to learn and enjoy the benefits of yoga: a healthier body, greater self-confidence, and a more peaceful life.
