Kristen Anderson

Kristen initially entered a yoga teacher’s program in order to better speak to her counseling clients regarding the ‘alternative forms’ of treatment she often recommended including movement, meditation, and mindfulness. However, she found herself incorporating what she called the 3M’s not only into her individual and group counseling but into her own daily routines. She is currently certified in Transformational Yoga (RYT-200), and sessions often have a strong focus on posture and breathwork that are suitable for beginner and intermediate level participants. She also enjoys bringing yoga to specific groups including those struggling with addiction or creating inclusive ‘movement groups’ for younger children and older adults.
