Maggie Galambos believes that the benefits of yoga are endless. She sees the benefits beginning on the mat and encourages students to find ways to fully extend them after class and off the mat. For this reason, she hopes that every student comes to class with an open mind and willing heart. Her classes can appeal to people of all physical backgrounds.
Maggie teaches at a variety of levels with a constant emphasis on breath and mindfulness. She has been practicing yoga for more than ten years and completed her 200-hour teacher training through the Chicago School of Yoga under the direction of David Duerkop.
When I first left Maggie‘s class I felt centered and calm. Then, as I walked through the rest of my Saturday, that feeling remained plus I had an awareness of feeling taller. The class decompressed my spine. My core was supporting my torso effortlessly.
