Elaine found yoga by chance. She was injured after a marathon, and her physical therapist suggested she try yoga to minimize her future risk of injury. After maintaining a regular practice and seeing the physical and mental benefits that came with it, she was hooked! Yoga brought Elaine greater flexibility to continue running and sense of calm that she embodies throughout her daily life.
Influenced by many, her classes connect the breath with movement, emphasizing strength, alignment, and energy. Elaine hopes to inspire others who want to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle as they age.
